Parcelles Assainies: water cut on Sunday for a connection to a new reservoir

SEN'EAU carried out a several-hour water cut on Sunday in part of Parcelles Assainies, to connect the local network to a new storage reservoir meant to improve pressure in the area. The notice had been issued three days earlier on the company's official channels.
The Parcelles Assainies area has seen rapid population growth in recent years, with the construction of many buildings putting strain on the existing network and causing regular pressure drops reported by residents in the more outlying units. The new reservoir is meant to better distribute pressure across the whole area.
On the ground, several households had prepared for the cut by storing water in jerrycans, now a common habit in the neighbourhood after several similar interruptions in recent months. Others had to go to relatives connected to another part of the network during the works.
What the creator verified this Sunday: the cut effective between 9am and 3pm in units 15 to 19 of Parcelles Assainies. What remains to be confirmed: whether the new reservoir will bring a lasting improvement in pressure, with a first assessment expected from SEN'EAU in the coming weeks.
