Boxing: a clash of titans announced for 10 October at Koumassi's Inchallah square

Organisers have announced a boxing gala on 10 October at Inchallah square in Koumassi. The evening is billed as a clash of titans, with several bouts on the card.

Ivorian boxing lives mainly on these neighbourhood galas, staged by local promoters and clubs, often outdoors and in front of large crowds. They also serve as a showcase for young boxers hoping to catch the eye of national selectors.

In Koumassi, Inchallah square regularly hosts local sporting and cultural events, with a set-up built for the evening and taken down afterwards.

What remains to be confirmed: the full fight card, ticket prices and the start time of the first bout, which organisers have not yet published.
